Take this once in a life time experience with Darwin Red Devil Charters, to experience shark cage diving off the Darwin coast. The only place in Australia to cage dive with Tiger Sharks in their natural environment, no diver qualifications required.

Your shark cage diving Adventure starts at 7 am departing the Cullen Bay Ferry Terminal with a bacon and egg breakfast. After an introduction and safety briefing from the skipper we depart the pontoon. The journey to Tiger Shark territory takes just over an hour depending on the weather conditions. On dive location, we secure, launch the cage, throw out the bait and wait for the action to begin. Maximum of four people in viewing cage, large groups will rotate every 20 to 30 minutes, so that everyone can come face to face with these amazing striped Tiger Sharks.

NO SHARK POLICY

Every effort will be make to attract the sharks to the boat, however in nature there can be no guarantees. In the Event that we don’t have any sharks appear a half price ticket will be offered. Tickets are valid for a 12 month period, these tickets cannot be exchanged or refunded.

WHAT’S INCLUDED

Breakfast, morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea, iced water, tea, coffee and soft drink. We are the only charter boat with a liquor license you are welcome to purchase a cold beer on board. ( Sorry no B.Y.O ) Please advise us of any food allergies when you book. We also supply all diving equipment, goggles, snorkels. Stinger suits must be worn in the wet season.

All rods and reels are supplied on a replacement if lost or damaged basis

  • WHAT SPECIES OF FISH ARE WE LIKELY TO CATCH?

    The Top End has a huge range of quality reef fish including Black Jew fish, Coral Trout, Cod, Red Emperor, Golden Snapper, Cobia, Mackerel, Travally, Tuna and lots more.

  • WHAT IS THE BEST TIME TO GO FISHING?

    Luckily the Top End is generally very good all year round. The wet season January to March can be very good fishing weather permitting with great catches of, Black Jewfish, golden snapper, red emporer and coral trout.

    April to May the beginning of our Dry season are usually excellent for Jewfish and Golden Snapper, Trevally and Queenfish. June to September the weather is great and the fishing is excellent for not only reef fish but Mackeral and Tuna. October to December can produce the best fishing. The Sea is usually very calm and a great time to fish for Black Jew and golden snapper.

  • WHERE DO WE FISH?

    We fish all the reefs up to 30 Nautical miles off shore depending on tides and weather. Areas such as the Pinicals, Lorna Shoals, North and South gutter, Fish reef, Bass reef and many more. Our crew will do their very best to find you your fish of a lifetime.

  • HOW MANY ANGLERS PER BOAT?

    Our Vessel Red Devil can take 12 passengers with plenty of room to spare.

  • WHAT SHOULD WE BRING?

    Only your hat, sunglasses and Sunscreen. We supply Breakfast, lunch and dinner depending the time of day we depart.

  • WHERE DOES YOUR CHARTER DEPART FROM?

    We depart from the Cullen Bay Ferry Terminal on the pontoon at 6 am sharp and return 3.30 pm. Cullen Bay is about 5 minutes from Darwin City. We Prefer our passengers to be there 15 minutes before departure time. Half Day charters vary due to the tides you will be notified of times upon booking.
